Will the Titans Keep the Pick?

There has been a lot of talk about the Titans potentially trading down from No. 1 to get more picks which would allow them to add more valuable players in the draft. Their team president said they also don't plan to pass on a generational talent if one is available. Both Abdul Carter and Travis Hunter were dominant in 2024 and showed they can be elite at their positions. For Carter, he racked up 12 sacks off the edge at Penn State. Hunter had 15 touchdown catches while grabbing 4 interceptions on defense while playing both ways.

Cam Ward Could Go No. 1

Cam Ward enjoyed a great season at Miami FL as he threw 39 touchdown passes to just 7 interceptions. He is great at moving in the pocket to extend plays and he can make all the throws including putting touch on the ball. He got better each year over the course of his college career and is looking like a legitimate starter in the NFL. Scouts are going back and forth on whether he or Shedeur Sanders (Colorado) is the better QB prospect. As of now, Ward has the edge and seems like he would be the guy to go number 1 if the Titans decide to pick a quarterback.

Could Travis Hunter Go No. 1?

Travis Hunter is one of the more special talents to enter the draft in some time as he is an elite player on both sides of the football at wide receiver and cornerback. It's still up in the air what position he will play at the next level but he has shown he can excel at both. Could he go No. 1? A wide receiver hasn't been drafted 1st overall since Keyshawn Johnson was the top pick by the Jets back in 1996. Gary Glick is the only defensive back to ever be selected at the top of the draft and that dates back to 1956 when he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
