DFS Strategy for UFC Paris
The UFC has had some issues putting together this card in Paris. Multiple fights have fallen off a card filled with little-known fighters either making their second appearance or promotional debut. Caolan Loughran and Taylor Lapilus are now facing each other after having their original opponents drop. Both fighters, however, have salaries representative of their original matchups. This is a tricky card to play and should have a lot of variance in potential outcomes. Let’s take a look at some fighters to target.
Premium Plays ($9000 and Above)
Farid Basharat $9200
Basharat is among the bigger favorites on this card. While justified, there is some concern as my projections have this fight likely to go to a decision in Basharat’s favor. The place where Basharat can overcome not getting a finish is in the control department. Basharat should have the advantage in the grappling department where he should maintain a ton of control time. Rodrigues has a propensity for being comfortable fighting off his back which can be trouble in MMA. Basharat feels like a safer play for cash games while his ceiling may be limited with this fight going to the judges.
