Michael Crabtree played in his first NFL season opener Sunday. To know how it went, just consider he was involved in as many interceptions as catches.
The 49ers' wide receiver had receptions of 9 and 3 yards, then had one interception pop off his hands and another fly high and behind him for a touchdown return in Seattle's 31-6 victory at Qwest Field.
Just don't tell Crabtree this had anything to do with him missing all four exhibition games, because he isn't having any of that.
"You can have all the chemistry in the world at practice, but when Sunday comes, you've got to make plays," Crabtree said. "Even in the exhibition season, if we were doing the same thing, we've got to make something happen on Sunday."
