Green Bay Packers star running back Aaron Jones is active for Thursday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy Impact:

There it is folks. Aaron Jones will play and likely start for the Green Bay Packers in Week 9. Tyler Ervin should be benched if you have comparable options, as his touch floor is that of waiver wire fodder. Jones is our 10th ranked running back for Week 9 and should be started universally.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
