Eagles Shopping Veteran:
Long-time Eagles backup quarterback A.j. Feeley seems headed to New England, after some roster moves in New England today.
The Patriots cut Andrew Walter, the only veteran quarterback on the team aside from Tom Brady.
Rookie Brian Hoyer remains as Brady’s only backup, leading to open talk about Feeley being sent to New England.
The Philadelphia Eagles need a third tight end, to go along with Brent Celek and newly acquired Tony Curtis.
And the Patriots have two veteran tight ends – Ben Watson and Alex Smith – who are available.
Michael Vick will assume Feeley’s role as the Eagles’ third quarterback, behind Donovan Mcnabb and Kevin Kolb.
