It’s an all-too-common sight this season to see Colts WR Austin Collie laid out on the field after a crushing hit. That scene played out again Sunday against the Jaguars.
Collie was knocked out of the game late in the second quarter after taking a hit over the middle from Jaguars LB Daryl Smith. The Colts later announced that Collie had suffered another concussion and is doubtful to return.
It was a short but sweet return for Collie. In his first game back after missing the previous three with a concussion and related issues, he had scored both of the Colts’ touchdowns against the Jaguars. But Collie has missed five games this season as a result of the concussion earlier this season.
In all likelihood Austin Collie is done for the season.
