Bills WR Sammy Watkins (foot) cleared to practice

Bills WR Sammy Watkins has been cleared to practice Wednesday on a limited basis, GM Doug Whaley told WGR 550 on Wednesday morning. Watkins has been on injured reserve since Sept. 30; he is eligible to play in Sunday's game against the Jaguars if the Bills choose to activate him.

Fantasy Impact:

This doesn't mean that Watkins will play (or play effectively) in Week 12, but it's certainly good news for those owners who have stashed him away or picked him up in the last couple of weeks. Through two games, Watkins has six catches for 63 yards on the year. In 12 games last season with Tyrod Taylor as the quarterback, Watkins averaged 4.6 catches for 83 yards and 0.67 touchdowns. If possible, owners should wait a week before using Watkins.
