Broncos agree to trade for QB Joe Flacco

The Baltimore Ravens have an agreement in principle to trade former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco to the Denver Broncos, league sources told ESPN on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Albert Breer reported that the Broncos will send a fourth rounder for Flacco. Flacco's best fantasy finish was back in 2010, when he finished No. 11. He had back-to-back No. 14 finishes in 2011 and 2012, but he has finished No. 19 or worse in four of the last five seasons (from 2013 to 2017). He's a competent quarterback, so compared to Case Keenum, Flacco is probably a wash for Emmanuel Sanders and Courtland Sutton. The Broncos may use an early draft pick on a rookie quarterback as well.

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith officially Out for Week 12

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
