The Denver Broncos were expected to fill their last practice squad spot Tuesday, and when the deal is signed, it will show just how badly they wanted running back Jonathan Williams to fill that spot.
Fantasy Impact:
Williams, who was a surprise cut by the Buffalo Bills this weekend after he appeared to be in position to be LeSean McCoy’s backup, agreed to terms to be the Broncos' 10th practice squad player. He also has the possibility of earning $510,000 for the season ($30,000 per week, given practice squad players are paid week to week) if he remains on the practice squad for all 17 weeks of the regular season.
