Browns WR Antonio Callaway reported to camp out of shape

When speaking about Antonio Calloway on Thursday, Todd Monken said "“To his credit, I think he’s worked himself – I shouldn’t say his credit, hell, he came in a little bit out of shape probably – the last seven days he’s getting himself back in shape, putting himself in position, you can see that starting to feel more comfortable and make plays. So I really like him. He really has tremendous upside, we all know that, you guys saw it last year. He’s explosive, has really good down-the-field ball-tracking ability, so there’s a lot to like there.

Fantasy Impact:

So far the Browns have Antonio Callaway running with the second and third team in camp and his conditioning appears to be one big reason. His offensive coordinator Todd Monken does feel like he's getting into better shape and showing well on the field. Right now Rashard Higgins is the No. 3 receiver based on snaps with the first team, but Callaway still has time to beat him out for the job. There aren't going to be a plethora of targets left after Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry get theirs, but Callaway is a big play receiver and would benefit in coverage with Beckham Jr. on the field.
