Bucs GM: WR Chris Godwin has earned a bigger role

Buccaneers GM Jason Licht says Chris Godwin has earned the right for a bigger role in 2018. Says he represents what they want in a Bucs player. Smart, hard working and unselfish.

Fantasy Impact:

Godwin played 70%+ of the snaps three times last season and averaged 5.0 catches for 92 yards and 0.33 touchdowns. He'll probably need an injury to Mike Evans or DeSean Jackson to become a fantasy starter, but he's definitely a player who should be on the draft radar in the later rounds.

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
