Melvin Gordon (hamstring, knee), WR Tyrell Williams (quad) and DT Brandon Mebane (not injury related) all were listed as questionable by the Chargers as they host the Cardinals on Sunday. Williams and Gordon likely will be game-time decisions. Both were limited participants on Friday, while Mebane did not practice for a second straight day due to a personal matter. Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn said Gordon is dealing with a sore knee. “Most starting runners this time of year are sore or something’s wrong,” Lynn said. “So we’ll have to decide if it’s worth holding him back or just letting him go.”
If Gordon can't go, Austin Ekeler, who was removed from the injury report on Friday, would be an RB1 against the Cardinals and their 15th ranked (aFPA) defense against running backs. To that point, he has averaged 15.5 points in the four games he has received at least 10 touches this season.
