The Chargers announced that they have signed WR Griff Whalen. Whalen was among the Dolphins cuts as they made their way down to 53 players early this month.

Fantasy Impact:

The team opted for Whalen rather than bringing back James Jones, who was with the team after Stevie Johnson went down but later released.
