Chiefs K Harrison Butker (ankle) doesn't practice Wednesday

The Chiefs may have to go another week without their regular kicker.

Head coach Andy Reid told reporters in his Wednesday press conference that Harrison Butker won’t practice on Wednesday, as Kansas City begins to get ready to play Indianapolis.

Fantasy Impact:

Those who saw Butker hit your waiver wire last week and grabbed him this week may have to stash him or come up with another plan. Reid stopped short of saying it's a high ankle sprain, but did mention there is still some swelling that needs to go down. Ammendola would get the kicking duties again if Butker can't go in Week 3. Owners will at least have some notice as Butker and the Chiefs play an early Sunday game at Indy.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
