Cincinnati Bengals rookie tight end Jermaine Gresham is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Gresham has not practiced all week. He has been in Oklahoma since his grandmother died on Monday.
Asked if Gresham would play, coach Marvin Lewis said, "We'll see."
Usually when Lewis utters that, it isn't encouraging.
Tight end against the Steelers is vital in terms of pass protection. If Gresham is unable to play, Reggie Kelly and Chase Coffman will see extended action.
Gresham's current ranking is at the level of a number two tight end, so he probably isn't in a lot of lineups at the moment. It might be time to take him out if you still have him in there. Kelly and Coffman aren't fantasy options.
