C.J. Spiller eligible to return to practice Wednesday

Bills running back C.J. Spiller will be eligible to play in Week 16 after eight weeks on I.R. with an injured collarbone and coach Doug Marrone said Wednesday that the team was optimistic that Spiller will be able to return.

“We’re hoping to see C.J. to start coming back,” Marrone said, via the team’s website. “That designation is coming up.”

Fantasy Impact:

Spiller is eligible to resume practicing with the team on Wednesday, although Marrone didn’t say whether or not that would happen. Spiller, who has 287 yards on 69 carries this season, can become a free agent after the season, so a return to action for the end of the season could benefit him as well as the Bills. Spiller would be a very risky fantasy play for your finals in Week 16 - if he even suits up.
