Colts RB Nyheim Hines fumbles again

Colts rookie running back Nyheim Hines fumbled in the team's second preseason game Monday night. It was his fourth fumble in two games.

Fantasy Impact:

This is a big problem with respect to Hines' ability to earn playing time as a rookie. We know that coaches do not like to put players on the field who put the ball on the ground. While it does seem like Hines probably just has a case of the yips, it is worth noting that he fumbled seven times in his final two seasons at N.C. State on just 343 combined all-purpose touches. This may be an ongoing issue.

Fantasy Impact:

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith officially Out for Week 12

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
