DET: RB Kevin Smith will have tests on shoulder

Lions RB Kevin Smith left the game in the third quarter with a shoulder injury and did not return.
"Yeah, Kevin's got a shoulder (injury) and Kevin was running extremely well," Lions coach Jim Schwartz said. "He was running physical and was giving hits, taking hits, and things like that. He's got a shoulder. I don't know where it's going to be. We'll have a lot of tests he'll wind up doing tomorrow, but he came out of the game with a shoulder."
Smith had rushed for 101 yards on 16 carries up to that point (6.3 average). He left briefly in the second quarter with a knee injury, but returned after the half until being knocked out with the shoulder.
Smith lay flat on his back for several minutes after taking a hit out in the flat in the third quarter. He immediately signaled for trainers to come out.
