And this was quick: Former Falcons’ standout Devonta Freeman and the Saints now have reached agreement on a one-year deal, per his agent @DrewJRosenhaus. Freeman reunited with his former college teammate, Jameis Winston.

Fantasy Impact:

This is an interesting signing for New Orleans, but Devonta Freeman joins a backfield led by Alvin Kamara with backup Latavius Murray and Dwayne Washington, and Ty Montgomery already vying for playing time. This could be a move to get Kamara more slot time with Michael Thomas out, but for now, Freeman isn't fantasy relevant.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
