Dez Bryant 'could go' Week 7

Before the Cowboys went on their bye week, there was discussion about wide receiver Dez Bryant returning to the lineup against the Giants in Week 7.

“It totally depends on how he’s doing,” Jones said on “Shan and RJ” on 105.3 The Fan, via the Dallas Morning News. “He had a good end of the week last week. He got in some really good work. He didn’t have much negative response from that work. It was strenuous work, the kind that if he can step out here and have a couple of really good days of practice then you could see him go. … Everybody will get a feel for it, but more importantly, he’ll get a feel for it. He’s the key. He’ll have to decide, does he push off on it? This is strictly, ‘Do you feel comfortable making your cuts? If you do, then it’s on go. If not, then we’ll wait a week.'”

Fantasy Impact:

The game is now less than a week away and this week’s practices will provide the answer to whether or not Bryant is ready to play after breaking a bone in his foot against the Giants in the season opener, the story said. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team will gauge Bryant’s work in practice on Wednesday and Thursday before making the call. Fantasy owners will just have to wait another day or two to at least get a better idea of Bryant's status. This contest is a late-afternoon matchup, but owners may have to make some decisions before that.
