Miami Dolphins running back Frank Gore was ruled out of Sunday's 41-17 loss to the Vikings after suffering a left ankle injury.
Gore, 35, was awkwardly tackled on a 10-yard run late in the first quarter. He struggled to get to the sideline with help from trainers and eventually was carted away.

After the game, Gore left the locker room with a walking boot on his left foot. Dolphins coach Adam Gase did not have any further update on his status, according to ESPN. Ballage took over for Gore and ran 12 times for 123 yards and a TD. Next week the Dolphins get the Jags, while it's not a friendly matchup, Ballage is probably a guy to add as Drake only had four touches in the game.
