Adam Caplan said the following: “Barring a setback or surprise Alshon Jeffery will be able to play in the first month if the season. I didn’t say he’s going to play Week 1. The typical full repair of the Lis franc, which is mid-foot, is 9-12 months. So he’s obviously fairly close. It’s just matter of how close.”
It wasn't that long ago Jeffery was rumored to remain on the PUP list and miss the first six weeks of the season, so this is at least a bit of good news. The Eagles are very banged up at WR right now, but it looks like perhaps a few weeks into the season they could be back at full strength. Jeffery will be competing with Jalen Reagor, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Greg Ward.
