Speaking on Monday morning to Angelo Cataldi on the 94WIP Morning Show, Doug Pederson would not commit to receiver DeSean Jackson playing against Dallas, but he did sound hopeful it could happen.
"He has been running. He has been running on land, we have had him in the pool...He is feeling good," Pederson said. "I am going to meet with the medical team in a little bit, and have more of an update at the noon press conference. But he is getting close and we are hopeful. I can't promise anything."
It's a huge divisional game for first place against Dallas on Sunday night so owners will have to wait this out but also have a backup plan if they want to play Jackson. The Eagles offense hasn't put up more than 20 points the last two weeks so they really miss the deep threat Jackson gives them.
