Falcons sign RB Stevan Ridley; promote RB Terron Ward

The Falcons spent Monday coming up with plans to deal with running back Tevin Coleman’s injury and they addressed the need for other options by adding a pair of runners to the roster on Tuesday.

The team announced that they have signed veteran Stevan Ridley and promoted Terron Ward from the practice squad.

Fantasy Impact:

This probably doesn't bode well for Tevin Coleman's status this week. If Coleman can't go, Devonta Freeman should see a bigger role. On Monday, we reported the Falcons say they are confident in Ward so it's possible he does get some work.

Bears RB D'Andre Swift misses Wednesday practice

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
