Atlanta Falcons coach Dan Quinn remains optimistic about Julio Jones' availability Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints.
Quinn told reporters he anticipates Jones playing, despite the superstar receiver dealing with a nagging hamstring injury, per NFL Media's Tiffany Blackmon.
"He did the walk through last night and did that today," Quinn said. "From what we saw, he's doing good and we anticipate him playing for the game."
Jones played 73 of 80 snaps in the Falcons' Week 5 overtime win over the Washington Redskins, garnering five catches for 67 yards on 10 targets. There were questions entering the contest about whether Atlanta would limit the wideout's playing time. Jones has been held under 70 yards receiving each of the past two weeks while dealing with the injury, after starting the season with three straight games of 135-plus yards.
