Former TE Rob Gronkowski doesn't see return in foreseeable future
Ex-Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski said at a presser that if he feels passionate again about football, he'll play.
"It could be the case in 6 months, it could be the case in 2 years, it could be in 3 years ... But I truly don't see it in the foreseeable future."
Given the issues New England has a TE, they may be trying to get him to reconsider. But Breer went on to say Gronk sympathizes with recently retired QB Andrew Luck. Gronk added he was in tears in his bed after a Super Bowl victory and four weeks later still hurting with a thigh bruise, and, had internal bleeding. "Football was bringing me down," Gronkowski said, according to Breer. Doesn't seem like a return is likely based on those comments.
