Gardner Minshew in danger of being benched , per report

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew could be in danger of being benched if his struggles continue.

Fantasy Impact:

Rapoport says that benching could come as soon as today against the Chargers. Mike Glennon is Minshew’s backup. Minshew has four fumbles and five interceptions during the Jaguars’ five-game losing streak. Head coach Doug Marrone even said he’d be naive to think it’s not a possibility that the team switches quarterbacks. The Jaguars have their bye next week so they’ll certainly be closely evaluating over the next few days.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
