Despite some signs of progress last week, and the fact that Odell Beckham was one of the first people on the practice field today, the team's 2014 first-round pick is still a long way from seeing game snaps.
Tom Coughlin said Beckham won't significantly deviate from his practice routine this week, which means there's a zero percent chance he's seen on Sunday against the Texans. Before the season opener, Coughlin said that Beckham (hamstring) could be out "another three or four weeks," which led to some hope that Beckham may start working his way back this week.
That is not the case.
With Jerrel Jernigan out for the year, Preston Parker and Corey Washington will keep Beckham's spot in the lineup warm until his hamstring fully heals. Washington seems to have more upside, but Parker played ahead of him in Week 2.
