Isaac Redman will start Week 2

Isaac Redman said that, despite coming off his worst game as a professional, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin still had confidence in him.

The veteran running back apparently was right.

Redman will start at running back Monday night against the Cincinnati Bengals despite fumbling twice and rushing for just nine yards on eight carries in Pittsburgh's 16-9 season-opening loss to the Tennessee Titans.

"Obviously he played a bad game," Tomlin said Tuesday at his weekly news conference. "He'll be given an opportunity to redeem himself."

Fantasy Impact:

Don't expect a lot from Redman behind an offensive line that isn't very good heading into Week 2. On top of that, it's a pretty tough matchup against a solid Bengals defense. Felix Jones and Jonathan Dwyer could also figure in on the workload.

Kittle returns to a great matchup against a Packers defense that ranks 26th in TE aFPA. He should be fired up as a high-end TE1 once again.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

Fantasy Impact:

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
