There’s a chance Josh Jacobs plays this week in Denver.

Fantasy Impact:

It's good news for the Raiders who need to win and get some help to make the playoffs, among the help is needing the Texans to win, who are saying they will play their starters despite already clinching a berth and a home field game. If Jacobs plays, it's a hit to Washington's fantasy value. With either back, though, it's a tough matchup against the Broncos.

With Jacobs out in Week 14, Washington turned 20 touches into 96 total yards and a touchdown against the Titans, out-snapping Jalen Richard 40 to 24 in the process.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder) did not practice Wednesday. With Jacobs ruled out, DeAndre Washington likely takes over as the lead back against the Chargers. With Jacobs out in Week 14, Washington turned 20 touches into 96 total yards and a touchdown against the Titans, out-snapping Jalen Richard 40 to 24 in the process.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder) will not play in Week 16 against the Chargers.

Fantasy Impact:

Jacobs returned last week and carried 24 times for 89 yards. But his shoulder continues to be a bother and with the Raiders all but eliminated from the playoffs (they need a near miracle to sneak in), the team will take things easy with their star running back. DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard will handle the work in Jacobs’ absence.

The Raiders have no plans to shut down right tackle Trent Brown or running back Josh Jacobs, who are nursing injuries.

Fantasy Impact:

Jacobs is listed has questionable with a shoulder injury. Jacobs has played with a fractured shoulder since Week 7 but did get 26 touches for 109 yards in Week 15.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder, questionable) took limited practice reps all week and is questionable for Week 15. Jacobs says he's going to play in Week 15, though the Raiders play late again so we may be headed for a dicey situation on Sunday morning. However, he did practice all week and reportedly looked good coming off of a "positive" MRI, so we tentatively expect him to play.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Jacobs had an MRI that came back clean, so he's expecting to play for the still-alive Raiders in a must-win against a hapless Jaguars rush defense. Jon Gruden indicated that his status is still in doubt. He looks 50/50 to play at this point. If he's out, DeAndre Washington would be a great start against a hapless Jaguars rush defense.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs was cleared for practice Wednesday but head coach Jon Gruden did not fully commit to him playing Sunday against the Jaguars.

Fantasy Impact:

Gruden said "It doesn't mean he will play. We'll see what happens in the next 48 hours." Being cleared for practice this early is obviously a very good sign. We'll just have to keep track of how Jacobs responds to practice throughout the week and what his official designation will be come Friday. For now, consider him questionable, but on the right track.
