Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette sustained a right ankle injury late in Sunday’s 27-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but coach Doug Marrone said Fournette was available to return for the final offensive series if needed.
Marrone said Fournette received a “spat” – a new tape job over the pre-game tape applied.
“They said he could have gone back in the game,” Marrone said. “That’s encouraging.”
Fantasy Impact:
The team was concerned it was Fournette's knee, and the story said replays made it seem Fournette may have hyperextended his knee. He was helped off the field but was able to do short sprints.
