Jets hopeful Eric Decker plays Week 4

The Jets’ best wide receiver, Eric Decker, tweaked his right hamstring in the loss at Green Bay. It is the same hamstring that bugged him during training camp. Decker tried to play Monday night, but left after he played 12 snaps, because his hamstring tightened. He didn’t get into the game at all in the second half. HC Rex Ryan said he is hopeful Decker can play against the Lions.

“I think with that hamstring, we’ll see how it is,” Ryan said. “Hopefully, he’ll be ready to play.”

Fantasy Impact: 

Ryan had no regrets about playing Decker and feels he took himself out of the game before things got worse with the hamstring injury. As a result, Ryan is hopeful Decker can go. It's an early game so we'll know for sure about an hour before kickoff, but owners will risk a similar outcome to Week 3 with Decker in their lineups...
