Carter is dealing with an ankle sprain and despite not going in practice today, the team thinks he still has a shot to play against the Vikings in an early Sunday game. If Carter can't go, Knight likely sees a decent workload and is a popular name on the waiver wire right now. Knight would seem to still have a role even if Carter plays.
