Saleh said the Jets didn't put Zach Wilson on IR because they believe he'll be able to practice before the Buffalo game.

The Jets think Wilson can practice even if he's not ready to play yet and he wouldn't have been able to practice that week had he gone on IR. White will play on a short week in Week 9, but it sounds like Wilson at least has a chance to play in Week 10 - a tough matchup against the Bills.
