Jonathan Dwyer downplays injury after another solid game

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin cited RB Jonathan Dwyer in his postgame injury report as having a strained right quad. Dwyer shrugged it off — “I’m fine,” he said.

Fantasy Impact:

Tomlin was pressed after the game on the idea of keeping Dwyer the starter over Rashard Mendenhall when he comes back, but wouldn't commit due to Dwyer's injury. As the story points out, the numbers are sure there for Dwyer though: 107 yards on 17 carries; 122 the week before in Cincinnati — including 114 after contact. His back-to-back 100-yard outputs are the Steelers’ first since Willie Parker in September 2008.
