In their first game since trading McNabb to Washington, the Eagles (0-1) started with Kevin Kolb and finished with Vick. Kolb left with a concussion at halftime, so Vick played meaningful snaps for an extended period for the first time in nearly four years.

Vick, a three-time Pro Bowl quarterback during six seasons in Atlanta, invigorated an offense that was awful in the first half. He finished with 175 yards passing and ran for 103, reminiscent of his "Superman" days with Atlanta.
Kolb looked awful, going 5/10 for 24 yards in the first half before exiting with the concussion. Michael Vick came in and looked strong, rushing for over 100 yards and throwing for 175/1. Looking to avoid any potential QB controversy, Eagles HC Andy Reid was quick to name Kolb the starter next week if he is cleared to play.
