Kyle Shanahan expects Emmanuel Sanders to play Sunday

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said he expects WR Emmanuel Sanders to play Sunday after being traded on Tuesday from the Broncos.

Fantasy Impact:

Emmanuel Sanders will, of course, have a learning curve to get through with a new offense, but he is going to play against the Panthers on Sunday. Carolina has given up the most receptions and fifth-most yards per game to wide receivers this year, but they have allowed the ninth-fewest touchdowns to the position. Sanders could be eased in, so some caution is warranted.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
