Lions WR Calvin Johnson 'doesn't anticipate' missing practice during the season
Johnson did not play in three of the Lions’ four exhibition games, but he has been back practicing full-go this week, and he said Tuesday that he doesn’t anticipate missing regular practice time this fall.
“We’re going to do what Coach wants us to do, but a lot of that (time off last year) was due to some injuries,” Johnson said. “Really, I would rather prefer to be out here practicing, get timing down.”
Johnson spent a lot of time in the training room last season and even missed a couple of game, which is unusual for him. Only time will tell if he's able to practice fully throughout the entire season. As nicks and dings crop up, we're expecting him to get some time off during the season.
