The Ravens, with a huge need for a big-play wide receiver to line up opposite Anquan Boldin, had an offer on the table for Malcom Floyd. On Friday, Floyd, who spent the previous seven seasons in San Diego mostly as a backup, re-signed with the Chargers.
Fantasy Impact:
This is bad news for Joe Flacco and the Ravens, who need a WR to replace Derrick Mason. Right now, it appears that they will be depending on rookie Torrey Smith. Philip Rivers gets a boost as he gets his trusted WR2 back, but he's the third receiving option in the offense after Antonio Gates and Vincent Jackson. The signing obviously hurts the sleeper status of Vincent Brown.
