According to Jeff Legwold on Twitter, Melvin Gordon suffered a rib injury during Thursday's practice which resulted in him being pulled for the day.
Melvin Gordon was already dealing with a slower than expected acclimation to the altitude in Denver, and now has to deal with a rib injury. There are still a few weeks left of training camp, so barring a severe injury, Gordon should have time to heal up before the opener. However, this is further reason to believe that Gordon may be splitting touches relatively evenly with Phillip Lindsay to open the season.
