"Brett's played a lot of years," WR Percy Harvin said of the quixotic Vikings QB Brett Favre, who came out of retirement twice to resume a Hall of Fame career and at 40 is wavering again on what to do about 2010. "Right now I'd say it's 50-50 he comes back."
If it really is a coin flip, Favre figures to go through a pocketful of change finding the answer, and most of the way through training camp, too. He's cagey that way, and Harvin, the only Viking ever to score a touchdown in each of his first three NFL games, is willing to play whatever mind games are necessary.
"Brett, he's really a goof," Harvin said. "We just clown, talk about some TV show or something. We don't even talk about football. He might feel I'm trying to pressure him. I just let him be him. He'll make the decision that's best for him."
Another Favre update with really no news... But should Favre return, he'll immediately be penciled in as a top-10 fantasy QB, based on the great season he had last year and the young weapons around him. So while we get these updates that really tell us nothing, his final decision will have a fantasy impact in rankings.
