Packers RB Ty Montgomery injury 'nothing of a serious nature'

Last night, #Packers RB Ty Montgomery left early with a foot injury. But post-game, coach Mike McCarthy said, “I'm told it's nothing of a serious nature."

Fantasy Impact:

This is good news, as Montgomery is slated to potentially be the third-down/no-huddle back in the Packers offense behind Jamaal Williams, with Aaron Jones suspended for two games. It appears though that Williams, who the coaching staff has praised all offseason and preseason, will get the first crack at being the starter.

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
