Panthers WR Smith: either an arm or shoulder injury

Panthers receiver Steve Smith suffered what appears to be either an arm or shoulder injury during Monday's evening practice. Smith collided with cornerback Chris Gamble during a passing drill and fell to the ground in pain. He kicked his helmet in frustration as he walked away with trainers and was later carted off the field.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
