49ers WR Jauan Jennings will play X-receiver position

After the game, coach Kyle Shanahan said that, from this point forward, Jauan Jennings will be playing the high-profile X-receiver position that Brandon Aiyuk manned before his season-ending knee injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Jennings responded with a team-high 93 receiving yards, including 36 yards after the catch, the story pointed out. His 13-yard catch-and-run at the end of the game set up the game-winning field goal. Pearsall, meanwhile, finished second on the team with 73 receiving yards. Jennings played a 58 snaps at WR to lead all the 49ers at the position. Samuel had 48 snaps and Pearsall 41.

SF WR Ricky Pearsall - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Ricky Pearsall scored his first NFL touchdown last week against the Buccaneers. But with the 49ers just about fully stocked (minus Brandon Aiyuk), Pearsall will settle in as the WR3. He should see some targets, but the 49ers have plenty of other mouths to feed. That said, this offense is explosive enough that even Pearsall has flex appeal as the WR3 in this offense.
