Percy Harvin activated from PUP list

The Seattle Seahawks on Monday activated wide receiver Percy Harvin from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, paving the way for his potential Seahawks debut this coming Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings at CenturyLink Field.

Under NFL rules, the team had to activate Harvin this week or else lose him for the entire season. After his hip surgery Aug. 1, Harvin was placed on Seattle’s PUP with a designation to return; under that policy, teams have three weeks to activate a player once he starts practicing, and Harvin started practicing with the Seahawks three weeks ago on Oct. 21.

Fantasy Impact:

Ian Rapoport reported he absolutely plans to play, but as the story pointed out, just because he's off PUP doesn't necessarily mean he'll play this week - it was a move the Seahawks had to make. Although, indications are he will play at least a limited role in Week 11 against his former team, last week's reports were saying Week 13, after the Seahawks Week 12 bye. Something to keep in mind as Seattle plays a late afternoon game in Week 11 - we may not officially know his status until right before game time.
