Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll praised WR Josh Gordon and believes he will get up to speed on the offense very quickly.
In regards to picking up the playbook, Carroll said "He’s a smart football guy. He’s going to get it. It’s not going to take him very long.” Gordon is expected to practice today and will likely make his Seahawks debut Monday against the 49ers. Gordon may not blow the roof off in the Seahawks' run-based offense, but he'll be in the mix for targets behind Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf. Gordon may not be his elite self anymore, but he still brings upside and it helps that he has Russell Wilson throwing him the football. Gordon's usage early on will be very intriguing to watch.
