Javorius Allen has gone from a spectator to the Baltimore Ravens' busiest running back.
After being a healthy scratch for the final four games last season, Allen surprisingly has received the most touches of any Baltimore back in the first two weeks of 2017. He has totaled 40 touches (35 rushes and five catches), which is decidedly more than starter Terrance West (29 touches).
Allen's 101 total yards were the ninth-most of any running back in Week 2.

West did get the start and also scored a TD but he disappeared in the fourth quarter, a time when you usually lean on your top back. Instead, the Ravens relied on Allen and Collins while running 11 times in the final frame.
