RB Beanie Wells feeling better

Beanie Wells and Tim Hightower were the only healthy running backs at practice on Wednesday.

LaRod Stephens-Howling (left hamstring) and Jason Wright (concussion) sat out. Stephens-Howling is hoping to be available. Wright has yet to pass neurological tests that would clear him to return.

He failed the test on Tuesday and will take it again on Thursday, he said. Wright suffered the injury when blocking Seattle linebacker Will Herring on a kickoff.

Wells missed last Sunday's game with knee swelling, but said on Wednesday that he feels better than at any time since undergoing knee surgery in September. Coach Ken Whisenhunt said he didn't anticipate any problems with Wells playing on Sunday.
