RB McFadden a bright spot for Raiders

Darren McFadden worked hard all day Sunday, gaining 95 yards rushing and 55 more receiving as the lone offensive threat the Raiders had. When he finally scored the team's first touchdown, on a 7-yard catch and dive with 9:58 left, McFadden had nothing left - emotionally.

"It felt good, but at the same time, it wasn't even worth celebrating," he said. "We were so far behind."

McFadden was the lead back with Michael Bush out with broken thumb. McFadden had a 16-yard catch, a 13-yard run and averaged 6.3 yards every time he touched the ball (18 carries, six receptions).

"He was a real positive for our football team," coach Tom Cable said. "He did a lot of things we needed him to do. Catching the ball, blocking, running with the football, he was able to convert some plays. So that's the kind of player we envisioned him being.

"As I have said all along, if he is healthy, that's what he's capable of."
