Another player sidelined with a hamstring injury is running back Ryan Torain, who on Monday -- two weeks after originally suffering the strain -- had a setback during pregame warmups. Torain didn't practice yesterday or today and doesn't appear likely to play on Sunday.
Strong safety LaRon Landry said today that the condition of his sore left Achilles’ tendon is as bad as it has been all season and that it's to the point that he doesn’t expect to play on Sunday when the Redskins take on the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.
Without Landry, the Redskins lose their most versatile player and co-leader in tackles. (Landry and middle linebacker London Fletcher have 85 tackles apiece, which ties them for fourth in the NFL).
The loss of Landry doesn't help a secondary that's among the worst in the league. With Torain and Portis probably out, Keiland Williams looks to be in store for the workload against the Titans. Even in a blowout game last week against the Eagles, Williams put up nice fantasy numbers.
